Heartbeat Drum

In Heartbeat Drum exhibit, visitors stand across from each other around a large drum with their hands placed on the handles in front of them. Sensors in the handles detect each user’s heartbeat. At first, each drumstick will beat a different rhythm, but it is possible through time and coordination for the visitors to slow or speed up their pulse so that the drum beats in unison.
