Privacy Policy for Todo+

Todo+ (“the App”) is a task and daily planning app for iOS. This policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: Todo+ does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, calendars, or health data
- Usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash reports
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
Information You Create in the App
Tasks, plans, notes, due dates, and any other content you enter are stored locally on your device only. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to us or to any third party
- Is not accessible to the developer
- Is not backed up to any server operated by us
If you have enabled Apple’s device backup (iCloud Backup or encrypted local backup via Finder/iTunes), your App data may be included in that backup. Those backups are managed entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and we have no access to them.
Home Screen Widget
Todo+ includes a Home Screen widget that displays your tasks for the day and lets you add new tasks. The widget reads and writes the same local, on-device storage as the App. No widget data is transmitted off your device or to any external service.
Third-Party Services
Todo+ contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, or tracking technologies. No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected.
Tracking
Todo+ does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because it has no need for it.
Children’s Privacy
Todo+ does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since no data is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for users of all ages in this respect.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. To delete all data created by Todo+, simply delete the App from your device. Deleting the App removes its local storage. If the data was included in an Apple device backup, you may also need to manage or delete that backup through your Apple account settings.
Data Security
Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by iOS’s built-in security, including device encryption and passcode/Face ID/Touch ID protection. We recommend keeping a device passcode enabled and keeping iOS up to date.
Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Similar Laws)
Privacy laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of it.
Because Todo+ collects no personal data and we hold no information about you, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full and direct control over all your data on your own device at all times. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if a future version of the App introduces new features. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be communicated within the App or through the App Store release notes.
